Reports to Founder & CEO

About The Company

We are a pre-launch luxury home & gifting brand built on the ritual of gathering. We create pieces

designed to be loved, shared, and passed down. In a moment when algorithms and screens have

hardened the divides between us, our brand is a deliberate invitation to come back to the table.

We are based in Los Angeles, CA (West Hollywood), recently raised a meaningful seed round, and are

rapidly building from the ground up — the brand, the assortment, the team, the systems we'll run on.

The Chief of Staff who joins us now will have an outsized role in shaping what we become.

The Role

We’re hiring a Chief of Staff to be the founder’s force multiplier as we move from pre-launch into our first

chapters of growth. It’s a strategic operator role for someone equally comfortable building a pricing

model, running a vendor RFP, owning a fundraising data room, drafting a board update, and rolling up

sleeves on whatever the day demands.

You’ll work directly with the founder and CEO across every part of the business — strategy, operations,

finance, hiring, brand, supply chain, and investor relations. You’ll help us decide what matters, build the

systems to execute on it, and step in to own the things that don’t yet have an owner.

This is a role for someone who wants the highest-leverage seat at an early consumer brand: the front-

row view of a company being built, with the autonomy and trust to shape it.

What You’ll Do

Strategic projects & decision-making

• Partner with the founder on the highest-priority strategic questions facing the business — pricing,

channel strategy, product roadmap, brand positioning, market sizing — and turn open questions

into clear recommendations.

• Build the analytical backbone behind big decisions: financial models, e-commerce dashboards,

scenario analyses, competitive patterning.

• Translate strategy into execution: sequence the work, define owners, set deadlines, hold the line

on follow-through.

Operating cadence & business rhythm

• Design and run our weekly, monthly, and quarterly operating rhythms — KPIs, goal-setting, retros,

and the meetings that hold them together.

• Build the dashboards and reports that show how we’re tracking, surfacing what’s working, what’s

broken, and what needs attention — before the founder has to ask.

• Own the master to-do list of the business and drive things across the finish line.

Fundraising & investor relations

• Own project management of the next fundraising round end-to-end: investor pipeline, materials

(deck, model, data room), diligence requests, scheduling, follow-ups, etc.

• Draft monthly investor updates and identify opportunities to drive as much strategic value from our

cap table as possible.

Operations & launch readiness

• Stand up the operational scaffolding we need to launch: vendor relationships, manufacturing

partners, 3PL and fulfillment, customs and freight, ERP / accounting, and our e-commerce stack.

• Own the company budget end-to-end — track spend by category, build and maintain forward-

looking forecasts, and flag overruns before they happen. Approve invoices and serve as the

gatekeeper for company spend across product, design / creative, and operations.

• Run cross-functional projects across product development, supply chain, brand, and marketing —

keeping every strand of a launch in sync.

• Help us scale by writing the playbooks we wish we already had.

People & office operations

• Help us build the team: scope roles, source candidates, run process, and close hires.

• Source, vet, and onboard new vendors and external partners (PR, social, creative, etc.) and own

those relationships day-to-day

• Manage the office — keep our space organized, stocked, and humming so we can all do our best

work.

• Be a culture-carrier and a steady presence as we grow from a handful of people to a real team.

Founder leverage

• Be a sounding board, a stress-tester, and an honest second opinion. Tell the founder when she’s

wrong; pick up the thread when she’s spread thin.

• Own the founder’s calendar and the company’s master schedule. Keep the team, vendors,

partners, and every project moving on time — chase commitments, hold the line on deadlines, and

make sure all critical milestones are achieved.

• Step into anything else that needs an owner. Founders’ priorities shift; Chief of Staff is the role that

flexes with them.

Who You Are

Background

• 3-6 years of experience in some combination of: operations at an early-stage consumer brand;

management consulting (Bain, McKinsey, BCG, or a top boutique); investment banking, private

equity, or venture capital.• A track record of getting hard things done in ambiguous environments. You’ve been the person

quietly making the trains run.

• A demonstrated passion for consumer brands / retail — fashion, beauty, food and beverage,

home, or adjacent.

Skills

• Sharp analytical chops. You can build a financial model in your sleep, put together a competitive

pricing analysis over a weekend, and pressure-test a thesis with data.

• Excellent written and verbal communication. You can draft an investor update, a vendor brief, and

a hiring email in the same hour and have all three sound professional and on-brand.

• Strong project management instincts. You know how to take a 60-day fire drill and reduce it to a

tracker, an ongoing solution, and a clear next step.

• Comfortable in spreadsheets, decks, and the operational tools of a modern startup (including

Claude, Airtable, and Google Suite). Bonus if you’ve stood up new tooling from scratch.

How you operate

• Low ego, high ownership. You’d rather get it right than get credit.

• High taste. You notice when something is off — copy, design, deck, customer email — and you

make it better.

• Calm in chaos. Pre-launch is messy; you find the signal through the noise.

• A bias to action. Perfect is the enemy of shipped.

• All-in on startup mode. We move in real time and want to work with team members who are also

energized by our pace of execution.

• Direct and warm. We’re a culture of direct communication and feedback, always delivered with

care and thoughtfulness.

Bonus points

• You’ve built or scaled a consumer brand — beauty, apparel, home, F&B — from the early stages.

• You’ve worked closely with a founder before and understand the ergonomics of being someone’s

number two.

• You have a point of view on home, design, hospitality, or material culture — not as a hobby, but as

something you find yourself thinking about.

Compensation

• Base salary: $130,000–$160,000, depending on experience.

• Meaningful equity in a pre-launch consumer brand.
